They were quick to take me as a walk in and had me out in under 45 minutes to change and rotate a tire. Ill be back for sure if they make it that easy and comfortable with their little lounge to wait in the AC. Exceeded my expectations for a tire shop. Thank you!

I brought my car to Lex Brodie’s in Hilo after my car overheated and my A/C stopped working. I explained everything to them, including what my husband and I observed. They told me they would diagnose the problem and charged me a $206 diagnostic fee, plus additional repair costs. After the work was done, they called and told me the fan assembly needed to be replaced. The issue is they never properly tested the system before deciding this. They assumed the fan was faulty and replaced it. My husband even requested to have the old fan returned to us because we had heard concerns that parts are sometimes replaced unnecessarily, and he wanted to verify it himself. Once the work was completed, I still had the same issue, the fans were not running, and the A/C still didn’t work. My husband tested the original fan afterward, and it worked perfectly. The real issue is something else in the system that is preventing the fans from being triggered. When I picked up the car, I immediately told them the fans still weren’t running, but the employee, Tiana (or Tina), with red and black hair, talked down to me. She dismissed my concerns, talked over me, told me the fans were working, and insisted

Drove from Kona for my wife's birthday to Hilo cruz and discovered I needed brake job for the rears. Called Lex Brodie's Kilauea, long story short, they took my 2018 Civic in at 2:30pm and finished the job at 4:30pm. Incredible service and accommodation for visitors from Kona. Mahalo!
